Dermal Fillers For Cheeks
Cheek Filler is the introduction of dermal filler to create better symmetry and volume of the cheekbone area. We use two methods to enhance this area, traditional needle and cannula work.
Cannula methods are used to minimise bruising and to improve client pain tolerance when performing this treatment. The upper face plays a significant role in keeping the face’s appearance youthful for longer.
If you would like to book a consultation, we are open from 10.00am – 8.00pm Monday to Friday.

The Procedure
-
Prior To Treatment
Our Aesthetic Practitioners will perform a pre-assessment to establish treatment suitability. We will cover the dos and don’ts, and most importantly, we will cover dermal fillers' risks and potential complications. Aftercare is essential to obtain the best and safe results.
-
Treatment
Cheek filler is performed using the correct dermal filler for the specific issues with your cheeks. Some may need volume, some lifting and some both lifting and volume. Once the correct product has been chosen, you may have some local anaesthetic cream applied only if required to help minimise any discomfort. The procedure is then performed using precise injections to create the desired look.
-
What To Expect
Dermal cheek filler is done by using injections in the specified treatment area. There can be slight discomfort but nothing too intrusive. A numbing cream can be applied where patients are sensitive. The skin may be a little red after treatment in the area treated. Some mild bruising may occur. Treatment usually takes 30-45 mins.
-
After Treatment
Do not massage the treated area for the first seven days; avoid hot temperatures, hot baths, and showers for the first 48 hours. We recommend not drinking alcohol for 48 hours afterwards to minimize the risks of excess bruising. It is very common to get swelling after dermal fillers; swelling should go down after 3 to 7 days. If you are experiencing bruising, please use arnica cream or gel until the bruise is gone.
Cheek Filler FAQ
The number of syringes needed to achieve desirable results varies from patient to patient. We always recommend what is believed to be the safe option for you as a patient. We like to build the area in stages for a safer and long-lasting effect.
During the consultation, we will discuss and agree on the best product for your skin type and anatomy. We work with Juvéderm; Vivacy Stylage; PPP Plasma Filler and Sky Med.
We will discuss the possible results and what is achievable with your facial anatomy. We will discuss the treatment step by step. We would never overfill the area, and we will show you the progress of the enhancement during the actual procedure. Even if we don’t recommend it, we can reverse the treatment by dissolving the dermal filler injected if you are extremely unhappy with the results.
