Avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications 24 hours before treatment. Please inform your practitioner of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you are currently taking during your initial consultation.
After a detailed consultation, the target area is cleansed to create a sterile environment. A topical numbing cream is then applied to minimise discomfort. The polynucleotide solution is carefully injected into the skin using fine needles or cannulas, with a focus on areas that require rejuvenation. Our skilled practitioner will ensure the procedure is comfortable and effective, adjusting their technique to your unique skin needs.
Post-treatment, it’s common to experience some mild redness or swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours. We advise against touching the treated area for a few hours post-procedure to avoid irritation or infection. Avoid strenuous activities and exposure to extreme temperatures for 24 hours. While makeup can be applied after 12 hours, it’s recommended to use gentle, non-irritating products initially.
The polynucleotide treatment is generally painless, though some patients may feel a mild tingling sensation during the injections. The entire process is quick, usually taking about 30 minutes, and you can return to your normal activities shortly afterward. Initial improvements in skin texture and appearance can be seen within a few weeks, with continuing enhancements over time.
