IPL uses a broad spectrum of light to treat multiple conditions simultaneously, including sun damage, rosacea, age spots, and uneven skin tone. These treatments can also effectively reduce unwanted hair and diminish the appearance of vascular lesions and are safe and relatively painless.
Laser and IPL treatments are great for individuals with busy lifestyles, as they deliver swift procedures with instant results, enhancing skin appearance under 60 minutes.
Laser & IPL treatments are highly customised to address your specific skin concerns and achieve personalised results that you will be satisfied with.
Unlike invasive skin treatments, Laser and IPL require avoiding sunlight for 2 weeks for healing, and for you to expect small scabs to form 3 to 5 days post-treatment.
To get started, the skin is cleansed and a topical anaesthetic gel will be applied to the area to be treated to numb the skin. The laser will then direct targeted beams of light onto the targeted area of the skin, and within 30 to 60 minutes (depending on the area being treated) you are done.
Patients may feel warmth from the laser during their procedure, however this is mitigated by the application of cool air to keep you as comfortable as possible.
